Hair Extension FAQs
Will hair extensions damage my hair? Great Lengths will not damage you hair if they are applied and removed correctly and if you follow the care instructions from your stylist. However even the best quality extensions can damage your hair if they are applied or removed by an inexperienced stylist. Many salons allow their stylists to start applying extensions to clients after a 3 day certification; However, at Beauty Heaven, our stylists must complete a 6 month quality control program before we allow them to apply extensions to our clients. Extensions may also damage your hair if it is overprocessed and if you do not follow the recommended home care. Your Beauty Heaven stylist will work with you to make sure that your hair is healthy before they apply the extensions and we wil send you home with everything you will need to take care of your extensions at home. We need to know a number of things to determine the cost of your extension service. How long is your natural hair? What is your hair texture? How thick/thin is your natural hair?
